Pediatric Sedation Dentistry
We understand that visiting the dentist can sometimes feel overwhelming for kids. Whether your child is anxious, very young, or needs extensive treatment, sedation dentistry can help make their visit more comfortable and stress-free.
Nitrous Oxide (“Laughing Gas”)
A mild, inhaled sedative that helps reduce anxiety while keeping your child awake and responsive. It wears off quickly and is safe for most routine procedures.
Oral Sedation
For children who need a deeper level of relaxation, oral sedation provides a calming effect while allowing them to remain conscious. It’s ideal for longer or more involved treatments.
General Anesthesia
In some cases—especially for very young children or those with special healthcare needs—we may recommend general anesthesia, performed in a surgical setting. This allows your child to sleep comfortably through the entire procedure.
